Current plans

Where are we now?

Since the decision by The Scout Association to sell the Walton Firs site to concentrate their resources on 4 major UK sites, Surrey Scouts decided to support a proposal to buy the site.

The fundraising to purchase the site was undertaken by a separate Company, registered as a Charity and was able to purchase the site after two years of fundraising on the 27th July 2008, from that time the site has been managed by  Walton Firs Foundation.
