I remember constructing and enjoying using an aerial runway across the lake some forty years ago. There were no rules to follow so we could use a steel cable, start the descent 30 feet up a fir tree and merely slip our wrists through short loops of rope. Braking; well brakes for aerial runways hadn't been invented then.
