Oatlands Scout Leader
My most vivid memory of Walton Firs was at the joint Surrey Scouts and Boy Socuts of America camp "Interlink". Some how I was convinced that going on stage in silly clothes in front of 1000 young people on a cold October evening was a good idea. It was only after what seemed like all of the crowd cheered for me to get a large bucket of gunge poured over me that I realised I had been conned. However the look on all my Scouts faces as I dripped back to the toilet block was worth it.
